A message from the President
To Our PEISA Members,
As we look ahead to another winter season, there is plenty of excitement building across Prince Edward Island! We are looking forward to welcoming another great snowmobile season and getting everyone back out enjoying the trails that make PEI such a special place to ride.
Behind the scenes, there is already a tremendous amount of work taking place to prepare for the upcoming winter. Our groomer operators, club volunteers, landowners, directors, and trail crews are working hard to get our trail system ready. From trail inspections and brushing to equipment maintenance, signage, bridge work, and countless other preparations, a lot goes into making sure our trails are safe, accessible, and ready for the season.
I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who gives their time, energy, and resources to make this possible. Snowmobiling in PEI would not be what it is today without the dedication of our volunteers, the support of our landowners, and the continued commitment of our local clubs and business partners.
We are fortunate to have such a strong snowmobiling community here on the Island. Every member, volunteer, sponsor, and landowner plays an important role in keeping our sport moving forward. Your support is what allows us to maintain and improve our trail network and provide an experience that brings people together from across PEI and beyond.
As we prepare for winter, I encourage everyone to support your local snowmobile club, respect private property, follow trail signage, and always put safety first. Let’s work together to make this another enjoyable and successful season.
On behalf of the PEISA Board of Directors, thank you for being part of our snowmobiling family. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you out on the trails!
Here’s to fresh snow, great trails, good friends, and another fantastic winter of snowmobiling in Prince Edward Island!

The economic impact of snowmobiling on PEI
Our 2023 Economic Impact Study, prepared by Atlantic Evaluation Group, looked at the 2020–21 to 2022–23 seasons using rider surveys, business interviews and national economic multipliers from the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations.
Island businesses told the study that snowmobilers are a big part of their winter income, and some add winter staff because of them.
