Groomer left this morning and headed towards fredericton to begin busting banks at the warburton road. Took a little longer than expected as the tractor needed a exhaust filter cleaning which was about 30 minutes and the condition of the road. Broke a hydraulic line on the drag but thanks to one of the board members we were able to get it back going in about 1 1/2 hours. It took 4 passes to bust the banks and did 2 passes with the drag. It is better than what it was. Land owner in that area has asked the people follow the road at the bottom of the field instead of going around the woods as he has winter wheat in the field. Plan is to head to summerside in the morning and return. Another few passes should cut more of the humps out of the drifted areas. Railbed is lacking snow in some areas and still 4 feet in others. Hopefully this week we can get 15cm with no wind. Mild thru the day mid week may be able to cut back some of the drifts. Lots of traffic everywhere today so hopefully everyone enjoyed. Thanks to all the drivers who pull off the trail or stop when the groomer is coming, makes there job easier. Sled safe and stay to the right.
