3 days of busting banks and getting trails open. We finally were able to get hooked on the drag. We had it shipped to Summerside to start from there as the western trails have been really good and to allow traffic to get to the two other clubs systems. We ran straight thru from Thursday morning and it is still going. I want to thank the two clubs for helping out with Springside cutting some of the drifts to Borden and KASA getting another pass from Summerside to Borden and back to their home base. Central Groomer ran last night to Mount Stewart and back to Emerald thru out the night. Driver change this morning (02/10/24) and the operator is starting to bust the North Side trail (route 212). With the mild temps overnight and Sunday morning we may do another pass on the north side trail. Land owners are contacting and complaining about trespassing in areas. We understand people want to be out but by not running where the trail is marked causes us to lose trail sections. Hoping to get section to coach’s restaurant this evening or morning. I want to thank all operators for there time and dedication over the last 4 days. Without them we would have nothing. Give them a thumbs up or check to see if they may need anything. The trails will get better as we can now process and manicure the trails. Ice crossings are still an issue and unless we get a cold snap recommend to not use them. Sled Safe. Slow down. Stay Right. Lets hope we can get steady snow now to improve what we have.
