Hard to believe how much snow disappears!!! One week ago it looked like we would be in great shape with between 65-85 cm in the east but this past weekend took a lot of snow away. Hopefully more soon. We started blast night after it finally got cold enough to go. The #1 Unit left home base in Grandview heading west on the #104 through Uigg and turned on to the #217 heading for Greenfield and New Perth. Since this was the first time with the drag since the major snow the operators spent a lot of time levelling the rolling sections of the trail. In some cases they made two or three passes on the high traffic sections making the trail as flat as possible. Once the groomer got to New Perth intersection it turned left heading for Mt. Stewart on the #103, returning from there it headed towards Georgetown. After completing into Georgetown we will be heading towards Ashton on the # 221. With between 15-20 cm forecast for the east tonight and tomorrow we will be making a decision on whether we will be running through the night. With the good temperature forecast for the next few weeks (staying cold) we should be able to keep the snow hopefully
