Sorry for not updating over the weekend.  Central trails were all gone over on friday to get ready for the weekend and reports back were good.  Bad in areas with lack of snow and gravel showing in alot of areas but in good shape for the snowfall and traffic that we have had.

Central Groomer left Charlottetown wednesday morning to get the trails ready for the snow that we were calling for.  We were able to get all the railbed complete yesterday up to Linkletter Farms in Summerside and back to Winsloe.  Operator reported little to no traffic which was good to get that base to harden up for the fresh snow.  We started getting the snow last night before he got back into Winsloe and roughly 6-8 inches of fluffy snow now.  Winds are suppose to be high today so drifting will definately occur in the problem areas.  Plan now is to start Friday Morning and getting the railbed complete and north side trail afterwards.  Best thing is for the sleds to drive on this and get the air out of it and pack it so we can process it.  Anyone out today sled safe, take a buddy or make sure you have someone to call if you get stuck.  if stuck on the trail contact the office and let us know so the operators can take care in those areas.  Sled safe, stay to the right and watch for the flashing lights.  Give the operators a wave and thank them when you can.  They are the heart of this operation and we couldnt do it without them.
