The eastern Groomer left on Thursday morning heading west towards Toy Master from Harmony Junction and things were going well until we hit the blueberry fields between Morell and Mt. Stewart. Ended up being stuck and after several hours of shoveling snow and some assistance from G@P Trucking in St. Peter’s we were on our way again to Charlottetown. Arrived in Charlottetown through the night, fueled up and then back to Mt. Stewart before going East into Georgetown and Montague on the Route # 103 before returning back to Mt. Stewart and heading back East on the #100 towards the Ashton intersection. Groomer then headed down the #221 from Ashton down to Cardigan and did the Lorne Valley trail (#311). Groomer is still running as I post this and will continue heading back to Ashton before heading East again for Elmira and Elliot’s on the new trail #225. Trails are improving but we could still use more snow, especially on the cross- country trails. Groomer has been running for close to 40 consecutive hours now and hopefully the trails keep improving.
