The groomer has been going steady since early Thursday morning, after a not so pleasant Wednesday night. Groomer ran into some trouble on Trail # 104 near Iona. There were several hundred feet of 12 to 15 foot drifts and banks of snow through this area, and it made it very difficult to actually follow the trail which could not be seen. Groomer got stuck around 3.00 am after going off the trail. Next morning with the assistance of Thomas Carver Trucking, we were released and continued on down to Murray Harbour breaking down the many banks. Returned back to Grandview in the afternoon and hooked on to the drag and headed West on the #104 into Mt. Stewart. Turning in Mt. Stewart the groomer then headed back towards New Perth on the #103 through Peake’s Tee. After turning at the Bus Depot the groomer returned back to Pisquid River also on the #103 before going back down through Lake Verde and into Mt. Herbert on the #105. The Groomer then returned back to Grandview for fuel before continuing towards Murray Harbour on the #104. Plan today is to finish into Murray Harbour and then start on the Cross Country Trail #305 down to Murray River
