Well that was a very nice dumping of snow and for the first time this winter it appears that the East did not hog it all. Great to see the entire Province got decent snow. The Groomer left this morning with the box drag busting banks and opening up roadways for visibility purposes. This does not leave a perfect trail but it does make a very passable trail. He has opened up the #104 from Grandview to Pisquid and has traveled along the #103 towards Georgetown before returning back to New Perth to head down the #217 where we will go towards Murray River on the #104 to break down the large banks in the Iona area. Operator said there were many spots with large banks so please if you are out be careful. The plan is to have the drag on by around 9.00 pm tonight and go throughout the night and again tomorrow with the drag. It is going to take some time to get the trails in perfect shape and may need two or three passes over everything to get back into great shape. We will keep it running around the clock hopefully if the temperatures are cold enough. I will provide another update in the morning
