GROOMER REPORTS
Central Trail
Groomer has busted its way into Summerside presently and will be heading back to kensington to pick up drag and continue back up. We will be busting thru to slemon park so if in area be aware of the groomer or the drag parked in fields. Plan is to get to the end of the grand river trail (route 204) and come back with drag to emerald hopefully before morning. Will keep posted as information becomes available. Sled safe.

Eastern # 1 Trail
Groomer # 1 left Grandview on Tuesday evening heading for Mt. Stewart on Route #104 through Lake Verde. From Mt. Stewart it then headed east towards Elmira on Route # 100. Trail was done into Elmira and into Souris before returning through the night to Morell where there was an operator change in the morning. Groomer continued back to Mt. Stewart and then back through the #104 to Lake Verde. It then went through Village Green, Mt. Albion and on the Mt. Herbert on trail # 105. Groomer returned back to Lake Verde and then back on the #104 back to Grandview where we switched operators again on Wednesday night and headed towards Murray Harbour on the #104 before returning on the same trail through the night. At this time there is not enough snow to do any cross country trails. Considering that there is no abundance of snow the Confederation Trail system has turned out to be decent going. With any luck, hopefully we may actually get some more snow over the next few days. If we get more the groomer will be moving
Island # 4 February 15th Update
Well it is 10.00 am on Thursday morning as I write this report. Groomers had been going steady since Monday night and trails were in excellent shape with some areas having 4 to 6 passes of the drag. The snow and the wind on Wednesday night and today has filled sections in again with a light powdered snow, which will only help trail conditions once we get moving again when the wind calms down. I was out doing trail inspections yesterday and was quite impressed with the conditions of the trails overall. There was the odd bare spot in a couple of fields where the snow was all blown off but not for very long stretches. Also a couple of spots on the Confederation Trail were bare but not many. When the wind goes down we will start again and keep the machines running. I will update when we start with the directions the groomers go. Please when riding keep to the right and always respect people's private property. We have had several complaints of snowmobilers driving through people's home properties and waking up kids and getting family dogs upset. That short cut through someone's property is not worth the hassle we have to deal with and the image we are labeled with

Springside Trail
Our Groomer operator headed out last night to attempt to get things opened back up after that wild windstorm. He was faced with massive drifts and just reported in this morning that there is a large tree down on the Ross Rd. on route 211. He will need help to clear it. It will take some time to get things opened back up ,so please be patient, ride right and watch for the flashing lights.
Western Trail
The groomer left from Coleman early Friday morning heading west on the #100 after a decent amount of fresh snow was received on Thursday. Wind was blowing hard with lots of blowing snow but we wanted to make an effort to see what we could do with the snow. After reaching Tignish the groomer returned back throughout the evening but the operator noted that visibility was terrible in many places and much of the trail that was just done had drifted back in. With the wind still howling and lots of drifting snow the decision was made for the safety of everyone to wait till the wind calms down to continue grooming. Groomer will begin again as soon as conditions allow us to continue
