GROOMER REPORTS

Central Trail

Groomer left Winsloe Last evening about 7pm and headed towards Emerald with the drag.  This again is a slow process as everything has filled in again.  We are unhooking drag where need to bust thru certain areas so if you are out and see a groomer with nothing behind you may come across the drag a bit farther down the trail.  It is heading towards Summerside today and will return back to Emerald before heading towards Borden.  Time lines are not available as for the drifting in areas.  Be patient as we plan to run as much as we can.  Sled safe and stay right.  Trail will be narrow for a bit

Island #4 February 13 Update

After finally getting cold enough the # 4 groomer left home base at around 9.00 pm heading west on the # 104 towards Vernon River. Groomer went into Mt. Herbert on the #105 before heading back and going to Mt. Stewart on the #104. It is very slow going as the operator is doing everything he can to take the moguls out of the trail. After making it to Mt. Stewart he had to return back to home base for fuel. Groomer will be out all day heading towards Murray Harbour on the # 104 and #305 and #305A. A decision will be made tonight based on expected snowfall in the east.
