GROOMER REPORTS
Central Trail
Central Groomer Left Charlottetown yesterday morning and head West on Route 100 Railbed. We thought we would only be able to pan to pack what snow was there, but we were able to process a lot of the trail heading west. Groomer operator indicated that there is good snow from Charlottetown to Emerald. Continued west in Kensington where snow is blown off areas of the rail bed. Please try to stick to the trail as we had issues in the past and we want to continue to work with landowners and respect their wishes. We got to Summerside and got as far as the Dekker Road and the lack of snow there he turned back and headed to do the section to Borden. Emerald to Borden he reported was decent and was able to assist with a sledder off the trail. He proceeded back to Charlottetown from Borden and we did a driver swap in Hunter River and the new driver head east to Mount Stewart. Turning back there we did the finger into Coach's. If out during the day be sure to stop in and check out their new lunch menu that starts at 12.99. Today the central groomer is starting on the north side trail to fill ditches and berms in fields to make them safe. Give a wave to the operator as they are out and be patient when coming across them. They may not see you right away. Trail will hold up well with these frigid temps. We need more snow in the future but will try our best to keep going. Sled safe and stay to the right.

Eastern # 1 Trail
Groomer left Harmony Junction early on Thursday morning with the drag on, things went really well until we hit St. Peter's where we had to unhook the drag several times and bust down banks and drifts. Finally got past the blueberry fields between Morell and Mt. Stewart after several hours of unhooking, hooking back on and busting banks. We met up with the other groomer in Mt. Stewart and what a pleasure it was to work together with it to make a trail quickly into town before coming back and heading for New Perth of the #103. Will continue to run throughout the night as we work to get all the trails open as quickly as possible
Island 4 Trail
Groomer left this morning (Thursday Feb19th) with the box drag. We were not sure what the conditions were going to be like with all of the wind and drifting we had received. Traveled on the #104 through Lake Verde all the way to Mt. Stewart. We then joined forces with the Eastern groomer which had the drag on, and continued into ToyMaster for fuel. Both units turned around and headed back to Mt. Stewart and then heading towards New Perth, where they will take the #217 through Greenfield before heading down the #104 to Murray Harbour throughout the night. This is a slow process with the drifts but we will continue to work hard for you to get the trails open as quickly as possible. We will also continue to run throughout the day tomorrow and tomorrow night to get as many passes as possible on the entire trail system
KASA
Yesterday and last night the groomer was over all our trail system. Rustico way seemed to have the nicest straight down snow to work with. The fields to the cell tower and out through French River had a bit less but still enough to work with. And as we got to the dirt roads in Springvalley we ran into some major hard packed drifting and spent some time widening the roads out and making room for the next storm.
Springside Trail
Cuddy left home base at 11:30 last night. Did the Appin road to the 209 and over to Crapaud , then on to the 101 intersection in Albany. He then came back and completed the second pass back to home base. Trails are in great condition and setting up beautiful. As always , please stay on the trail, ride right and watch for the flashing lights.
Western Trail
Last night the groomer went East on Rte 100 to Miscouche and did the West end of the Grand River Trail, tonight the groomer is headed West to Tignish.
